Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) isn’t backing down. They aren’t willing to change their original stance on the Champions Trophy 2025. The PCB had stated for months now that they wouldn’t agree to anything but Pakistan hosting the entire 8-team tournament. They said so yesterday (November 29) in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) meeting with the boards and would repeat it again when the meeting resumes today (November 30).

The virtual conversation didn’t last longer than 15 minutes as PCB didn’t budge. The time for the meeting remains unspecified, but it’s confirmed that Pakistan is heartedly against the idea of a ‘hybrid model.’ “Pakistan’s stance is unchanged,” a PCB source told Geo News.
